Welcome to Rethink:Rural’s new home on the Raydient Rural website!

Things may look a little different around here, but all the rural lifestyle content you’ve come to love and rely on from Rethink:Rural (affectionately referred to as ReRu around here) over the past nearly ten years is still here for you and growing.

I’m Kristen Boye, the Editor of Rethink:Rural, and I’m so glad you’re here.

Today, I want to walk you through our new name and look and explain why we’ve combined Rethink:Rural with Raydient Rural to enhance your user experience.

Why We’ve Made This Change To Rethink:Rural

Nearly a decade ago, Raydient Rural, known then Terra Pointe Services and then Raydient Places + Properties, decided to start a blog to promote the virtues of rural living.

Despite our success in rural real estate and land/timberland sales, we knew nothing about the blogging world!

But thanks to the dedication of one of our original (and pioneering) marketing managers, Rethink:Rural (affectionately referred to as ReRu) was born and quickly blossomed into one of the leading authorities on rural land buying, homesteading, transforming raw land into a homesite, land management, outdoor recreation, hobby farming, health and all things rural lifestyle.

Over the past ten years, the demand for rural properties through ReRu’s parent company, Raydient Rural, has also exploded as more and more people are fleeing cities and suburbs in search of the freedom of country living.

This and the need to upgrade the blog’s look and functionality provided the perfect opportunity to merge Rethink:Rural and Raydient Rural into one beautiful new educational and functional land-buying and rural lifestyle website.

And By The Way, We Also Sell Land!

As we alluded to earlier, Rethink:Rural was born from Raydient Places + Properties, a real estate company offering large land parcels for sale and smaller acreage within our rural communities for sale in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Texas.

This year, we dug deep into our roots and rebranded as Raydient Rural (where you’ve landed now).

This new name and look combine the educational side of our offerings (the Rethink:Rural blog) with our unique rural real estate listings (FKA: Raydient Places + Properties).
