SWANN COVERED BRIDGE

Where: Cleveland in Blount County, Alabama

When Built: 1933

GPS Coordinates: 33°59′51.35″ N, 86°36′5.13″W

This bridge is unlike many others thanks to its length (the longest bridge in the state), which is longer than a football field. Spanning 324-feet, the Swann Bridge, which crosses the Black Warrior River, is one of Blount County’s three covered bridges that was restored and reopened in 2012.
